Westside German Shepherd Rescue of Los Angeles

Thad von Knophen is a beautiful 3 year old German Shepherd. He is a large boy, but is as sweet as can be. He spent the entire ride from the shelter to us with his nose by our (driving) volunteer's ear giving a kiss here and there. He is great with other dogs and will be a giant affectionate lap dog if you let him. Someone took good care of him, he is well fed and not skinny like many of our other rescues out of the shelters. Thad walks great on leash and is an easy dog to have around, so if you're looking for a big affectionate shepherd, look no further, Thad is ready to go home with you. He is in a foster home with 3 other shepherds. His foster family was also fostering some puppies, and Thad took it upon himself to 'watch out' for the little pups. You can see on one of the pictures how he spent every night sleeping next to them till all the pups were adopted.
